Tallinn Airport started adopting Edutizer e-training environment in December 2007. Just a week after installation it was successfully deployed for job candidates screening tests.
Operating in one of the most regulated business areas, Tallinn Airport will use Edutizer to provide audit trail for required employee trainings and certifications. It is planned that all area permits will be issued only after a successful Edutizer test.
A separate enviroment, sharing same server and database as the main one, was set up for screening job cadidates. Candidates take a test in Edutizer as part of their job interview, results are immediately available to the recruiting managers.
Another challenge facing Tallinn Airport is the on-gioing modernization and expantion of the terminal, that brings the necesseity to sertify a large number of construction workers for operating in the toll and border zones. Edutizer will help to lighten load on the security department who currenlty process the certifications manually.
