In 2003 Mindworks developed language learning environment Efant (www.efant.ee) for the Estonian Integration Foundation. Initially planned to be decommitioned in 2006, Efant project already twice has recieved additional funding to continue to serve community of Estonian language learners.
Efant offers users testing and exercising environment allowing to prepare for state examinations in Estonian language. Designed primarely for secondary school students, Efant has found a wide user base also in among audiences.
Efant is essentially a skin on Edutizer engine that is designed to turn language exercising into a fun game-like experience. Users can choose between three different levels of language skills to practice. Both user performance and effort user are used to rank users.
